It’s Time for Catalina Island Camps!
Did you know that TSC has a sister camp called CATALINA ISLAND CAMPS?
Catalina Island Camps, or CIC as we call it, is part of our family of camps owned and operated by the Horners.
For many Tom Sawyer Camps families, we are the perfect summer destination between family vacations and other summer programs. We want to introduce CIC as the best next step in your child’s camp experience.
We believe every camper should experience sleepaway camp. Sleepaway camp has benefits that build on what we offer at day camp, like building independence, escaping the over scheduled time of school and home life, disconnecting from screens and adapting to cabin life sharing space with a small group of other children. Guided by similar high quality counselors like at TSC, campers who attend CIC have fun every day, except they stay overnight at camp for a one- or two-week session.
CIC is located on a beautiful private beach in a pristine protected cove on the remote west end of Catalina Island. It’s a child’s natural paradise to sail, snorkel, kayak, climb, shoot archery, hike, and explore other traditional camp activities, while making new friends and unplugging from technology. Campers live with 8 or 9 other girls or boys their same age in a cabin with 2 or 3 counselors. This allows our camp to be a tight knit community where everyone is safe and free to be themselves.
